bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
7+ years of professional experience in e-commerce development, with 4+ years of hands-on experience in BigCommerce.
Proven expertise in BigCommerce theme and app development, including Stencil, BigCommerce CLI, and custom storefronts.
Strong proficiency in React, Laravel, PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with BigCommerce Multi-Storefront, B2B Edition, and Headless Commerce implementations.
Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, ERP/CRM integrations, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development workflows.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (eg, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and automated testing frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold technical standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Lead the development and customisation of BigCommerce storefronts, themes, and apps across multiple client projects.
