Senior Design Engineer

Role description

Educational Qualification: BE/B Tech/ Graduate in Automotive Engineering

Desired Experience: Overall 2-3 years of work experience with at least 1+ year experience in organizing hackathons and managing idea management systems.

Key Objective of the Job: This role encompasses organizing internal hackathons, managing idea management system to harness and commercialize creative solutions across the organization.

Key Deliverables:

Design and implement programs that promote innovation, including internal hackathons and ideation challenges, to stimulate creative problem-solving among employees

Manage the organization's idea management system, facilitating the collection, evaluation, and implementation of ideas. Ensure the system effectively captures innovative ideas and tracks their progress from conception to execution.

Collaborate with various departments to identify innovation opportunities and integrate innovative practices into daily operations.

Facilitate ideation sessions, guiding teams through creative processes to generate actionable ideas.

Leading and manage high impact Innovation projects.

Ensuring tracking, attainment and reporting of Innovation KPIs and Commercialization goals

Specialized job competencies:

Prior experience of working in Automotive Engineering Services / IT service s and Automotive Technology

Proven experience in leading innovation initiatives, including organizing hackathons and managing idea management systems.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
