Job Description

  • The Senior Design Engineer, High Frequency Transformers is responsible for the design, simulation and validation of high-frequency magnetic components, supporting projects across the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, from concept (DEV A) to Start of Production (SOP).
  • This position plays a key technical role in developing advanced transformer designs for power electronic applications (e.g., DAB, LLC, Flyback, Forward, and resonant converters) used in Automotive, Railway, Aerospace, and Industrial sectors.
  • The engineer combines analytical design, electromagnetic and thermal simulation, and practical validation to ensure that all designs meet electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance targets, while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and sector-specific standards.
  • The role involves direct interaction with global R&D teams, transversal experts, and customers, to present design concepts, review specifications, and lead the technical discussions that define optimal magnetic solutions.
