Job Description

Role & responsibilities Responsible for the mechanical design of parts and assemblies of new products and for sustenance engineering tasks for industrial valve automation and actuation products, per design guidelines. Design compliance verifications by use of analytical tools and/or calculations. Created 3D models, manufacturing/assembly/technical documentation drawings, and BoMs. Compile product technical manuals, files for product certifications and maintenance of quality management system. Assists in drawing technical specifications for new product development projects from the Marketing Requirements documentation, incorporating the essential requirements of applicable design codes and standards in the design with a good command on materials and manufacturing process selection Owns the assigned engineering tasks of the project and completes the deliverables within timelines. Strong background in the Design of Rack & Pinion and Scotch Yoke Pneumatic and Hydraulic Actuators Skills Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferably Solid works, and in use of any design Analytical tools for FEA. Experience design calculations in compliance with ASME or ISO standards. Good handle on GD&T and International Standards for materials. General familiarity with manufacturing processes, including MOST of the following: castings, forgings, stamping, machining, EDM, welding, heat treat, tempering, plating, etc. Exposure to quality, reliability, certification, PoD testing, etc. is desirable Exposure to mechanical assembly & testing of prototypes and production samples is desirable. Exposure to mechanical, hydraulic/ pneumatic systems design, besides working knowledge of instrumentation/electrical systems is desirable. Candidates share their resume to mahesh.b@harita.co.in
