Job Roles & Responsibilities The Sr Database Developer needs to be able to assist the Database Architect in designing and implementing the decided database design. Candidate will need to be able to address issues of Data Migration (Validation, Clean-up and Mapping), and will need to understand the importance of Data Dictionaries. Support/troubleshoot SQL Server and core technologies such as Stored Procedures, Function, and Triggers. Should be able to independently design ETL packages using SSIS, ADF, Azure Synapse or AWS Glue Act as a champion of quality Serve as database design expert Requires a balance of knowledge, ingenuity and ability to solve problems pertaining to systems that require a high measure of messaging throughput and availability standards Participate and assist in creating database physical and logical design Writing underlying database stored procedure code to implement functional/technical requirements Writing documentation for database deliverables Performing unit and integration testing of database deliverables Determine level of effort and participate in project planning for the whole software lifecycle including deployment and support Perform or assist as a software architect , designing systems to respond to our business needs Candidate Requirements Minimum Experience - 7 + years in MS SQL, currently designated as DB architect. Skills Required: MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS, MSBI, reporting services (Power BI is preferred), database structure systems and data mining. 3 + Years experience with ADF, Azure Synapse, Data Lake and AWS Glue will be preferred. 3+ Years of cloud experience will be preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills(verbal and written). Should be able to prepare DB documentation, including architecture diagrams and schema.
