Role Overview

Senior Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end
data science projects
, from problem framing and data preparation to model deployment and monitoring.
Design and implement
predictive, prescriptive, and generative models
using state-of-the-art machine learning and AI frameworks.
Mentor and review work from junior data scientists and analysts.
Collaborate with
engineering teams
to build robust, production-grade data pipelines and APIs.
Develop
ML Ops workflows
for version control, CI/CD, and performance tracking of deployed models.
Conduct
feature importance, explainability (SHAP/LIME), and model interpretability
analyses.
Create compelling
dashboards, visual reports, and presentations
that translate complex insights into actionable strategies for clients.
Support
data governance, experimentation frameworks
, and
model documentation standards
across teams.
Stay updated with the latest in machine learning, AI research, and data engineering trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
4–6 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or applied ML roles.
Strong expertise in
Python
,
SQL
, and ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Hands-on experience with
data pipelines, cloud environments
, and
ETL orchestration
(AWS, Azure, GCP, DBT, Airflow).
Proficiency in
data visualization tools
(Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly).
Strong foundation in
statistical inference, time series modeling, and experimental design
.
Experience in
model deployment
using Docker, APIs, or MLOps platforms.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex results into clear business recommendations.

Preferred (Good-to-Have)

Experience leading projects in
sports analytics, business forecasting, or AI consulting
.
Familiarity with
LLMs, RAG architectures, or LangGraph/LangChain
frameworks.
Working knowledge of
Snowflake, Supabase, and cloud-native data architectures
.
Publications, Kaggle achievements, or open-source contributions.
