Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Data Scientists and AI Engineers to be part of our Agentic AI CoE, working on cutting-edge AI-powered use cases involving engineering data, vision, and document intelligence. You will develop working prototypes for a leading aerospace client and guide business units on how to scale and productionize these innovations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role based out of our Whitefield, Bangalore office, requiring full-time onsite presence (5 days/week).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client innovation teams to understand complex engineering and documentation requirements.
• Build AI prototypes to: Read and interpret engineering drawings (CAD, blueprints).
• Convert 3D models to 2D using AI/ML.
• Apply OCR and vision models for structured data extraction.
• Leverage LLMs, generative AI, and agentic AI for contextual reasoning and autonomous task execution.
• Demonstrate feasibility and advise on scalability and production-readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML software engineering.
• Strong expertise in:
• Computer Vision, OCR (Tesseract, EasyOCR, PaddleOCR)
• 2D/3D data processing and engineering drawing analysis
• LLM-based document processing and generative AI tools
• Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI function calling, CrewAI)
• Experience with:
• GCP (Vertex AI, Document AI) or open-source stacks in air-gapped/on-prem environments
• Python programming and model deployment
• Exposure to aerospace or manufacturing domains (highly desirable).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Innovation Labs, R&D teams, or CoEs.
• Generative AI
• Familiarity with:
• CAD tools and 3D file formats (STEP, IGES, STL)
• AutoML, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD for ML models
• ML pipelines using TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, Haystack
