Senior Data Governance Specialist

Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for creating items, product structures, bill of materials, ECO, routings, and updates in Oracle EBS for the plant locations by using SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and Oracle EBS/Windchill. Assist the manufacturing site with items, bill of material and routings/maintenance issues in Oracle EBS/Windchill. Analyze, detect, and correct data issues using oracle tools. Work closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates / modifications. Support product data setup for new product launches and meet the launch timelines. Train new and existing team members on an ongoing basis on relevant tools or topics Prepare and maintain new process documentation like work instructions, standard operating procedures. Work Experience and Skills Candidate should have Diploma / bachelors degree in mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 5 to 6 years engineering experience in product data management in manufacturing industry. Good to have knowledge of Oracle EBS\Windchill or any other PLM\ERP tools. Experience in creating items/BOMs and maintaining bill of materials in PLM/ERP tool is must. Must have experience in ECR, Engineering change management/routing process in manufacturing industry. MS excel knowledge/ SharePoint sites/power apps. 5 to 6 years of experience in product data management and bringing new enhancement in the existing product data process. Competencies: • Core expertise in product data management, Items creation, Bill of material creation and engineering change management process. • Must have an analytical mindset & able to generate insights using dataset (Excel Pivot, Graph, etc.) • Strong in conceptual design, out of box and logical thinking along with Problem solving skills. • Excellent communication skills: experience of working directly with global customers is a plus
