Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and analytics, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, and implement large-scale data pipelines using Python and AWS.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Develop and maintain complex data models, databases, and data systems.
Optimize database performance, develop ETLT solutions, and manage automated data flow on existing and new systems.
Work with international teams around the world to deliver high-quality results.
Engage in challenging projects, providing professional support and working in a dynamic environment.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or proven experience with complex solutions.
Strong communication skills in English and experience coordinating with other teams/stakeholders.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a balance between creating reusable/generic solutions and pragmatic approaches.
A can-do attitude, result-driven, and openness to learning.
Experience with ETLT jobs, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL (including window functions and procedures), especially on Snowflake.
Experience with Python scripting; solid software development experience is a plus.
Experience with European energy markets and their typical data sources (e.g., ENTSO-E) is a plus.
Experience with Tableau and Streamlit is a plus.
