Senior Data Engineer - Power BI

As a Senior Data Engineer at Tiger Analytics, you will be responsible for enhancing the business intelligence system using Power BI to support decision-making processes. Your typical day may involve: - Engaging with clients to understand their business context - Translating business needs into technical specifications - Designing BI solutions to solve complex problems - Leveraging Power BI for maintaining and supporting data analytics platforms - Conducting unit testing and troubleshooting - Developing and executing database queries and analyses - Creating visualizations and reports that exceed client expectations - Enhancing existing BI systems - Ensuring that technical documentation is updated - Performance tuning and analyzing BI consumption patterns - Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to meet deadlines and bring analytical solutions to life In order to excel in this role, we expect you to have: - 7+ years of experience in the BI space with a strong proficiency in Power BI - Hands-on experience in Power BI including Model Creation, DAX (including Advanced), RLS Implementation, Performance Tuning, and Security - Proficient knowledge of SQL - Willingness to collaborate with stakeholders and take ownership of deliverables - Understanding of cloud services, particularly Azure, is preferred At Tiger Analytics, we value diversity and inclusivity.
