Senior Data Engineer

As an IT professional in this role, you will focus on automating testing and DevOps using Microsoft Azure data PaaS services. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, building, modifying, and supporting data pipelines in a medallion architecture setting, leveraging DataBricks and PowerBI. - Working experience with Python to automate the running of unit and integration tests on all created code. - Supporting and troubleshooting environmental issues during application deployment in various environments. - Creating prototypes to validate proposed ideas and gathering input from stakeholders when necessary. - Implementing test-driven development and continuous integration processes effectively. - Converting high-level design into low-level design and implementing it. - Collaborating with Team Leads to define business requirements, estimate development costs, and finalize work plans. - Proactively benchmarking application code to prevent performance and scalability concerns. - Working with the Quality Assurance Team on issue reporting, resolution, and change management. - Assisting other teams in resolving issues arising from applications or the integration of multiple components. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
