Summary

Main tasks & key responsibilities

• Network Design:

  Designing robust, scalable network architectures for EVSE networks

• Documentation:

  Creating design (network diagram) for assigned modules & associated documents

• Customization & Modification:

  Implementing the code for desired customer features and requirements.

• Testing:

  Perform unit testing, Support testing team on defect analysis

• Peer Review:

  Perform peer reviews or inspection of software work products.

• Engineering Deliverables:

  On-time delivery and high quality (first time-right) of engineering deliverables by adhering Quality processes.
• Participate in customer meetings (global) and project meetings

• Training & Mentoring:

  Training of (new) software engineers in your team on product, process and tools

Hard skills:

• Experience in DC-charging systems (OCPP)
• Experience in battery management systems for electric vehicles or high-power industrial equipment is a plus

• Communication Standards:

  Experience in High Level Communication (HLC) & Low-Level Communication (LLC) protocol

• Network Design & Implementation:

  Experience in developing complete controls network architecture of EVSE for BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle)

• HMI Development:

  Experience in simulation tools for HMI development & subsequent programming

• Cybersecurity:

  Knowledge of network security measures & best practices
• Solid knowledge of the entire application development life cycle including configuration management practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of Power Line Communication (PLC), Ethernet, CAN, Git, SVN
• Strong understanding of software design patterns including object-oriented design, API/Web Service Design and methodology.

• Programming and scripting:

  Practical knowledge of Java, C#, JavaScript, Python or any other programming language
• Knowledge of data structures, relational databases, SQL, HTTP, Webservices, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, UML concepts
• Knowledge of control concepts
• Basic understanding of web application architecture
• Fluent in English
