Roles and Responsibilities Candidate having 10+ years of experience in Control-M AS400 Batch. Candidate with Strong Control M Scheduling/Administration knowledge. Experience of setting up scheduling and providing end to end solution. (Converting manual task into scheduler Able to independently understand the workflow and design the sequence of jobs, manage dependencies, priorities that goes in to creating the load files. Modify the schedule with incoming changes per change in requirement (CR etc.) using Control M. Should be able to advise on performance tuning in production (what jobs can run in parallel than in sequence to save processing time etc.) Mandatory experience in handling in Control-M application in the Production environment. (Loading unloading of jobs, manual execution, termination etc.) Expertise in handing multiple requests in AS400 Control-M. Should be able to perform Month end/Quarterly/Year end Activities independently. Should be able to handle special schedules during Maintenance windows and should be able to assist in Product Upgrades Knowledge of creation/deletion of jobs and mass job creation/deletion. Should be able to handle Complex Batch job Scheduling issues. Hands-on experience in Unix, Linux, and Windows environment. Should have knowledge of managing Client and various stake holders. Should have experience of managing team (24*7 service window) Connect with clients and deliver and run the projects in a defined timeline. Knowledge of creation/deletion of jobs and mass job creation/deletion Should be able to handle Complex Batch job Scheduling environment issues. Should have done Critical calendar updates like Yearend calendar updates. Perform Root cause analysis as per Request. Should have Provided support during DR activities. Able to work with users from Different regions and willing to work in 24/7 environment with rotational shift. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills are required. Should have good experience on ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow and Remedy. Knowledge of ITIL practices to support an operations support project. Good to Have:Troubleshooting batch jobs issues in AS400 with Different queues and subsystems. Experience in handling monitoring the AS400 application batch jobs/environment in Production.
