About the Role
As the Content Delivery Manager, you will be the operational backbone of our content ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between pedagogy, creativity, and technology by ensuring that every piece of learning content—from interactive lessons to vernacular translations—is produced, quality-checked, and deployed on time.
You will not just manage timelines; you will manage people and relationships. You will lead a diverse network of internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), external translation agencies, and content developers. Your goal is to build a robust "content factory" that scales without compromising on the quality that our learners deserve.
This is a high-impact role for a problem-solver who combines strong project management discipline with the agility of a startup leader.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Pipeline Management: Own the content production lifecycle from request to deployment. Create and manage detailed schedules, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Resource & People Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal SMEs, freelance content creators, and external translation/localization vendors.
Vendor Operations: Source, onboard, and manage external agencies and freelancers. Negotiate rates, manage budgets, and ensure strict adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
Process Optimization: Design and implement efficient workflows using project management tools (Jira, Asana, ClickUp, or similar) to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and report on throughput.
Quality Assurance Oversight: Collaborate with the Learning Design and QA teams to ensure all deliverables meet our pedagogical and technical standards before going live.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for content status. Provide clear, data-driven updates to Product Managers, Engineering, and Leadership regarding risks, timelines, and resource allocation.
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze operational metrics (velocity, error rates, cost-per-unit) to identify opportunities, issues, and areas of improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Management, Operations, Communications, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in project management, content operations, or delivery management, preferably within an EdTech, Publishing, or Media environment.
People Management Skills: Proven experience managing diverse teams (SMEs, creative talent) and external vendors/agencies. You know how to lead without authority and negotiate effectively.
Tool Proficiency: Expert-level command of project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com) and spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets).
Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a bias for action. You don’t just flag problems; you fix them.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to coordinate between technical and non-technical teams.
Bonus: Experience managing localization/translation projects across multiple Indian languages.
