Job Description

Key Skills: Ansible, Automation Testing, Python, Shell Scripting, Puppet, Docker. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead initiatives involving Python, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, and DevOps technologies. Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for infrastructure automation and associated tools. Drive infrastructure automation strategies across regions, ensuring standardization and scalability. Navigate HSBC's global infrastructure teams and structures, effectively communicating across all organizational levels from engineers to senior management. Own end-to-end delivery of assigned work, from requirement gathering to defect resolution and final product deployment into production environments. Tackle technical challenges, research solutions, and implement best practices to ensure consistency and innovation across the global engineering community. Enforce technical standards and governance across engineering teams while promoting the use of cloud environments, tooling, and automated testing throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate within a Scrum team to define and execute the technical roadmap for all service fulfillment channels. Demonstrate proven ability in designing, developing, and deploying applications with hands-on experience in Unix, Git, and Jenkins. Experience Requirements: 7-9 years experience in automation using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, and Cloud SDK. Deep expertise as an AWS Cloud Architect or Consultant with a strong understanding of AWS services and technologies. Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and data management. Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Exposure to AI/ML technologies is an added advantage. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team. Sound understanding of financial services industry regulations and compliance requirements. Education : B.Tech M.Tech (Dual), B.Tech, M. Tech.
