Position Overview: As a Cloud Security Engineer at EY GDS, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures for our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our cloud environments and applications, leveraging your expertise in cloud security, Python, AWS, and Terraform. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage cloud security solutions across AWS environments. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud services. Automate security processes using Python and Terraform to enhance efficiency and compliance. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses of cloud applications and infrastructure. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline. Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to alerts in a timely manner. Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technologies. Mandatory Skills: Cloud Security: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, practices, and frameworks. Python: Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation of security tasks. AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS services and security features. Terraform: Experience in using Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and security automation. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar. Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls). Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
