About The Team The Cloud Transformation Delivery Team is a newly formed unit in the Public Cloud Transformation department The team focuses on driving cloud transformation across the business domain ITs through architecture delivery as well as hand-on engineering The team also acts as a gateway to understand application needs and help establish new shared services and capabilities on the Public Cloud platform The Cloud Transformation Delivery's mission is to deliver business value through enabling Swiss Re and the business units to utilize the power and flexibility offered by public Cloud and accelerate the public cloud adoption across Swiss Re About The Role Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in Solution ArchitectureAre you passionate about everything cloud and dataThen join us as a Public Cloud Platform Solution Architect Be part of an startup culture at a mega scale where you will be challenged every day Work closely with the range of teams within the business to bring products to life Work with SwissRe Business Domains and identify opportunities to support their strategy and improve their processes across functions Work alongside domain Product Owners and domain Architects in designing the high level solution architecture to transform applications to Public Cloud Your Main Responsibilities Solutioning to build a comprehensive Cloud platform, which can satisfy the functional and non-functional requirements Design and deliver Platform Architecture suitable for the SwissRe public cloud Secure landing zone design Design disaster recovery and backup plans based on RTO , RPO and other non-functional requirements Clarify and assist Engineering teams in building the infrastructure as per Platform Architecture Engage with subject matter experts in Security, Governance and Enterprise Architecture teams to contribute and develop cloud technology roadmap and adherence to best practices About You The following proven technical skills will be required: Experience in Azure landing zone design, platform automation design, devsecops tooling, network topology & connectivity, access management & privileged identity design, platform monitoring, security architecture, high availability architecture design Experience in one or more programming languages: Dot Net / C#, Java, Python or Ruby Understanding of Cloud Platform Services (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS) Experience in DevOps methodology (preferably DevSecOps), both technically and organisationally, including continuous deployment, delivery pipelines and test environments Knowledge of Microservices, Containers Docker, Kubernetes Ability to handle team and guide them technically Ability to manage the internal stakeholders Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team Demonstrated ability to recognize and communicate project risks Ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges throughout the project development and successfully manage the customer expectations Good stakeholder communication Ability to work with Product Owner, Product Manager, Development, Testing, and Implementation teams Good exposure and expertise with projects involving Agile Methodology are pivotal At ease working in a transformational and complex environment at a fast-pace and getting things done Proficiency in English is required Good To Have Web application development including using tools like Visual Studio Experience with Network technologies, especially in Azure About Swiss Re Swiss Re is one of the worlds leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient We anticipate and manage a wide variety of risks, from natural catastrophes and climate change to cybercrime We cover both Property & Casualty and Life & Health combining experience with creative thinking and cutting-edge expertise, we create new opportunities and solutions for our clients This is possible thanks to the collaboration of more than 14,000 employees across the world Our success depends on our ability to build an inclusive culture encouraging fresh perspectives and innovative thinking We embrace a workplace where everyone has equal opportunities to thrive and develop professionally regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, skillset, thought or other characteristics In our inclusive and flexible environment everyone can bring their authentic selves to work and their passion for sustainability If you are an experienced professional returning to the workforce after a career break, we encourage you to apply for open positions that match your skills and experience Keywords Reference Code: 131847
