Senior Client Accountant

• Manage a portfolio of US clients- daily bookkeeping and month end close
• Good understanding and knowledge on Month-end close process including accounts finalization and reconciliations (Banks, AR, AP, Inter Company).
• Ensure bookkeeping is done in accordance with accounting principles.
• Taking ownership and responsibility of the allocated clients for meeting deadline and closing monitoring the progress of work.
• Perform

  detailed review

  of the work performed by preparers to ensure quality and meet deadline specifically during month end.
• Understanding and exposure to work on cloud based accounting tools (QBO, Xero, Netsuite etc).
• Work closely with junior team members to assist in day to day workflow.
• Project management across clients in terms of budget, timelines and deliverables.
• Responsible for client coordination and day to day communication over calls and emails.
• Managing a team of preparers/ staffs including their utilization and monitoring work progress.
• Reporting to related account level Team Lead
