Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/IND AS). Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Provide detailed analysis of financial data, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings, including GST, TDS, income tax, etc. Accounts Oversight: Supervise the day-to-day activities of the accounts department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Manage reconciliation of bank statements and intercompany transactions. Review and approve payment cycles, including vendor payments and customer collections. Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze financial performance and identify variances against budgets and forecasts. Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency. Real Estate & Construction Financials: Manage project accounting for real estate development and construction projects. Ensure accurate cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting for construction and real estate projects. Handle contracts and agreements related to real estate, construction, and loan transactions. Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure adherence to financial timelines and budget constraints. Loan & Financing Operations: Manage the companys loan portfolio, including disbursements, repayments, and documentation. Work with financial institutions and lenders to secure project financing and loans. Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and interest calculations. Internal Controls & Audit: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of any audit findings. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and train the accounting team, ensuring effective performance and professional growth. Develop and implement processes and policies to enhance operational efficiency within the department. Qualifications: ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) or Inter CA (Inter 1 & Inter 2) with strong accounting knowledge. Proven experience (14+ years) in accounting, finance, and audit, with significant exposure to real estate, construction, and loan operations. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. Excellent knowledge of financial software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other departments. Experience in managing accounting for complex, multi-faceted projects, especially in real estate and construction sectors. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Strategic thinking and business acumen. Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively. Proficient in financial modeling and financial statement analysis. Knowledge of GST, VAT, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance. Desirable: Prior experience in real estate development, construction finance, and loan management. Exposure to project financing and capital structuring. Advanced certifications in real estate finance or construction management are a plus.
