Senior Business Development position


  • Use domain strengths to generate business by developing client relationships, identify / generate leads, make effective pitches, write effective proposals, etc. in his/her area of domain strength
  • Creating market strategies for the business developing to meet the needs of existing clients.
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Should have excellent connects with in the industry e.g., Government/Multilateral/ Bilateral/ private sector clients etc. International exposure for conducting engagements would be an added advantage
  • Conduct outreach activities by deliver presentations in seminars/conferences, etc.
  • Stay alert to changing customer needs and come out with suggestions in terms of identification of new concepts/products/tools/services relevant to the market and support development of new specific offerings
  • Client Management / Stakeholder Management
  • Attend client meetings to understand client requirements
  • Target better clients and quality work in line with firm’s objective
  • Liaising with the client on continuous basis till the award of the business
  • Play a pivotal role in building and sustaining networks
  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  • Conducting periodic market research and analysis
  • Implementing strategies to minimize operating costs and increase profits
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s services, the competition in the industry and positioning


Requirement:


  • Minimum 10 - 12 years’ experience in relevant industry
  • Should have good understanding of construction and EPC market
  • Should have good networks in construction industry including law firms dealing with construction disputes
  • Candidates with business development experience in construction claims will be given preference
  • Candidate should have excellent communication, presentational and negotiation skills
