Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Team Management : Lead and manage the Business Development team, ensuring that both individual and team sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. Strategic Guidance : Provide ongoing strategic direction, motivation, and on-ground support to the team, helping them close deals successfully. B2B Client Acquisition : Identify, approach, and target potential B2B clients, especially in sectors like manufacturing units, machine manufacturers, and MSME stakeholders. Client Relationship Management : Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations, fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement effective strategies aimed at increasing market penetration, expanding the client base, and driving business growth. Market & Product Knowledge : Stay informed on industrial loan schemes, government subsidies, and financial policies to provide relevant insights to clients. Sales Support & Closing : Work closely with the team to assess client needs, address objections, and facilitate the closing of deals. Performance Monitoring : Track the performance of the Business Development team, provide actionable feedback, and ensure consistent follow-ups on leads. Networking & Brand Visibility : Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums to boost the company's brand visibility and foster new business opportunities. Desired Candidate Profile : Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a leadership role. Prior experience in financial services, MSME sector, or government subsidy consulting is preferred but not mandatory. Leadership Skills : Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead a team towards achieving their sales targets. Communication & Negotiation : Excellent communication, negotiation, and deal-closing abilities. Analytical & Strategic Mindset : Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Self-Motivation & Problem-Solving : Self-motivated, result-oriented, and proactive in overcoming challenges and solving problems. Industry Knowledge : Understanding of industrial loan schemes, government policies, and financial services will be a plus. Compensation (CTC) : Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The package will include a competitive salary along with performance-based incentives.
