The Marketing & Communications team helps build the ZS brand, champion thought leadership, support business development and engage our past, present and future workforce. Senior Budget and Operations Associate We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate, Budget Mgmt. to join our Marcomms team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping the team in ensuring financial accuracy by maintaining, detailed data of the teams planned budget, reconciling actuals against planned for each month, quarter and annually. The role will support Marcomms leadership team through analysis and insights on budget allocation & spend. This role requires strong understanding & comfort in working with complex budget data using Advanced Excel, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. What You'll Do: Liaison cross-functionally within Marketing & Communications to maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual budget data (planned & actuals). Audit & reconcile budgets against internal data & reports from Finance to ensure consistency. Analyze budget & spend, identify key insights and develop reports & visualizations for publishing regularly to Marcomm leadership. Work with stakeholders for budget data consolidation and analysis as part of budget planning & forecasting exercise. Assist in development and implementation of standard processes for budget management. Manage complex budget files applying Advanced MS Excel expertise in creating & editing cross-sheet dependencies, macros and advanced functions. What You'll Bring: Bachelors degree in business / commerce, accounting, finance or a related field. 3-5 years of experience as part of PMO, Marketing or Finance function performing similar duties. Advanced MS Excel skills with ability to use advanced functions, macros and analyze / report on large datasets. Experience working with complex budgets and financial systems. Familiarity with software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle in the context of Finance & Accounting operations. Sound knowledge of accounting principles and Finance operations. Exposure to processes related to SO, PO, invoicing, vendor & contract management etc. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and cross functionally under minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
