Role & responsibilities Equipment Installations Space/ Electrical/ Technical requirements, PO verification, User training. Record maintenance for AMC/ CMC/ Warranty status. Formulating the technical specifications & technical evaluation of new equipment. Schedule of preventive maintenance & servicing, calibration of equipment or periodic basis. Department/location wise records of all equipment. Minimizing downtime of equipment. Budget preparation and tracking. Maintenance of optimal and proper stock in BMD stores. Developing cost saving repair/maintenance solutions. Supervising & guiding the staff to attend the breakdown calls/ PM schedule of all equipment. Meticulous supervision of functioning and usage of different equipment and systems by the hospital staff and guiding for efficient and proper operations/usage. Following systems and procedures while performing duties. Establishing and maintaining cordial relations with manufacturers, technical Institutes, suppliers & Hospital staff to expedite information exchange and timely attention and response. By virtue of this advising the Management for effective Facility Management. Routine rounds of all equipment installations on daily basis. Developing new hardware/ software solutions for smooth & efficient functioning of all equipment Recruitment, training and appraisals of Staff. Coordination with other departments like purchase and vendors to ensure timely availability of supplies in right quantity and quality. Allocation of duties & responsibilities, either equipment specific or dept. specific among the staff, shift scheduling. Periodic Technical Meetings.
