Job Description

Job Title: Senior BI DeveloperLocation: Chennai/ Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 2–4 Years Methodology: Agile / Scrum Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI, ensuring high performance and scalability. Create complex DAX calculations, implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS), and optimize report performance. Develop robust data models aligned with best practices and business requirements. Work with Advanced SQL to query, transform, and optimize data for reporting and analytics. Build and manage ETL/ELT processes using SSIS and integrate data across multiple sources. Leverage Microsoft Fabric components to support modern data platform initiatives. Design and maintain data warehouse structures, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to gather requirements, plan sprints, and deliver high-quality BI solutions. Troubleshoot data, performance, and integration issues across BI and data systems. Document technical solutions and provide knowledge-sharing within the team. Required Skills & Qualifications 2–4 years of professional experience in BI development or a related role. Strong proficiency in Advanced SQL and relational database concepts. Deep hands-on experience with Power BI, including: DAX RLS and OLS Performance tuning & optimization Data visualization best practices Proven experience in data modelling and data warehousing concepts. Solid knowledge of SSIS for ETL processes and data integration. Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components and modern data architectures. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Preferred QualificationsExposure to cloud-based data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, OneLake).
