Senior Backend Lead

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Spring Boot and related technologies.

Convert customer business requirements into detailed technical solutions and application architecture.

Lead the technical team, provide technical guidance, validate solutions, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate UI components with server-side logic.

Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code with strong emphasis on unit and integration testing.

Work with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

Develop, document, and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with other services.

Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.

Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in backend development and cloud technologies.

Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration to ensure environment consistency and scalability.

Skills & Qualifications

5- 7 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.

Strong understanding of Spring MVC, Spring Security, and modern backend design patterns.

Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architecture.

Proficient in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.

Hands-on experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container management technologies.

Expertise with version control using Git.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Agile project environments.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to lead a technical team, review code, and mentor junior developers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
