Senior Automation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable front-end and back-end applications for leading financial services solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Angular, Spring Boot, and Oracle DB to build RESTful APIs, optimize database performance, and collaborate within Agile teams. As a senior contributor, you will also mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure high standards in software quality.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement automation frameworks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and low maintenance overhead.
• Solve multifaceted automation challenges across a variety of banking applications and systems.
• Continuously improve automation processes by adopting cutting-edge technologies and robust testing strategies.
• Lead the creation and upkeep of regression test suites for key products and platforms.
• Facilitate skill development by mentoring team members and facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Clearly communicate test outcomes, findings, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve defects in partnership with development and engineering teams.
• Apply Agile methodologies and operate effectively within POD and platform-based organizational models.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation andSQL-based test automation.
• Proficiency in Java, Selenium, TestNG, and BDD(cucumber) frameworks, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong expertise in developing automation frameworks with Selenium.
• Proven knowledge and implementation of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and SDLC processes.
• Proficiency with programming/scripting languages Java/Python.
• Deep understanding of software testing fundamentals and quality assurance best practices.
• Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) cloud testing platforms.
• Exposure or Knowledge on REST/POSTMAN API.
• Exposure to platform operations models or POD-based organizational structures.
