Senior Automation Engineer & QA

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer & QA to lead and enhance our automation testing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building automation frameworks, performing end-to-end testing, and ensuring software quality across web and mobile platforms. Responsibilities: Design and develop robust automation testing frameworks from scratch. Execute automation and manual testing for web and mobile applications (Android & iOS). Implement and manage automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, and JMeter. Perform API testing (manual and automation) using Rest Assured. Conduct database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity. Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects. Maintain and enhance test case documentation, including test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices. Work within an Agile/Scrum framework and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives. Utilize project management tools such as JIRA, DevRev, or ClickUp for bug tracking and reporting. Guide and mentor junior QA team members, ensuring quality standards and best practices. Skills & Qualifications: 4 - 5+ years of experience in software testing, with expertise in automation testing. Strong programming skills in Java or Python. Hands-on experience in mobile testing (manual and automation). Proficiency in API testing and automation. Basic knowledge of performance testing using JMeter. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficient in test case documentation and best practices.
