Overview

We are seeking a qualified and driven Technical Accounting professional to join our Global Delivery Services (GDS) team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality technical accounting support, research, and advisory services across complex accounting topics and transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a global, multi-disciplinary environment with exposure to diverse industries and engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Accounting & Advisory

• Provide accounting advice, transactional support, and technical memos for:
  
• Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, investments
  
• Structured finance
  
• Debt and equity offerings
  
• Leasing and derivatives
  
• Conduct detailed technical research involving US GAAP, IFRS, and other global accounting frameworks.
  
• Analyze and interpret evolving accounting standards and assist clients in adopting new requirements.
  
• Review and analyze guidance issued by FASB, SEC, IASB, along with publicly available filings.
  

Policy, Governance & Reporting

• Support in drafting, reviewing, and implementing accounting policies.
  
• Assist in governance processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  
• Provide consolidation and financial statement close process support.
  

Client Delivery & Engagement Management

• Ensure high-quality service delivery by monitoring daily progress and keeping supervisors informed.
  
• Address client requests promptly and manage expectations regarding deliverables.
  
• Identify engagement issues and perform benchmarking of client data to industry metrics.
  
• Explain key success factors of clients to the engagement team and recommend improvement opportunities.
  
• Exercise independent judgment in applying accounting standards to moderately complex situations.
  
• Adhere to professional standards, firm policies, and technical guidance materials.
  

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
  
• Contribute to team knowledge building, training, and shared learning.
  

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong understanding of

  Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP / UK GAAP / IGAAP

  .
• Experience in at least

  three

  of the following areas:
• Technical accounting research & memo writing
  
• Transaction accounting & reporting (IPOs, carve-outs, PPAs, etc.)
  
• GAAP conversions & implementation of new standards
  
• Drafting accounting policies
  
• Consolidation & compilation support
  
• Financial statement close support
  
• Benchmarking analysis & market research
  
• Ability to research emerging issues, regulatory changes, industry practices, and new technologies.
  
• Familiarity with marketplace dynamics, industry terminology, and standard tools/processes.
  
• Strong technical writing and presentation capabilities.
  
• Comfort working on complex and technical accounting topics.
