Ready to revolutionize education with AI? While most EdTech companies create generic learning tools, we're building AI-powered "Second Brains" that generate truly personalized educational content at scale.

What You Will Be Doing

Engineer sophisticated AI workflows that transform how educational content is created, integrating multiple AI tools and refining prompts based on real user feedback
Architect intelligent knowledge repositories using LLMs as domain experts, building contextual "Second Brains" for subjects like Science and History
Design scalable data structures that power our AI-driven content generation, ensuring seamless integration with business logic
Collaborate directly with subject matter experts to validate and enhance AI-generated educational materials

What You Won’t Be Doing

Building basic chatbots or simple AI integrations—this role demands sophisticated AI system architecture
Working on generic, one-size-fits-all educational tools that fail to engage students
Maintaining legacy systems or incremental feature updates—you'll be pioneering breakthrough AI applications
Operating in isolation—you'll work closely with educators and domain experts to ensure real-world impact

Senior Applied AI Engineer Key Responsibilities

Drive LearnWith.AI's market differentiation by architecting AI systems that generate engaging, personalized educational content at scale, transforming how students learn and educators teach.

Basic Requirements

Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience with proven track record of shipping production systems
Hands-on experience integrating Large Language Models into commercial software products—beyond basic chatbots or coding assistants
Genuine passion for educational technology and improving learning outcomes through innovation
Experience with AI workflow orchestration, prompt engineering, and LLM optimization techniques

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
