Job Summary Core Skills on OEM Application Development with Drive Systems, Frequent travelling, Proficiency in verbal and written communication, Team player, proactive in market analysis, application and process trends and installed base tracking. KEY INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS With sales and BD, to resolve problems, with ownership. Work With Industry and other BU front office Sales and Marketing, make joint visits to the customer, provide training on the offer and get the full visibility in the projects to increase pipeline, early entry and hit rate for Drive Systems. Job Responsibilities Develop OEM-Specific Applications: Work closely with OEMs to develop and standardize application solutions for their processes and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and integration with AC & DC VFDs and motion control systems. Collaborate with OEMs for Customization: Identify and implement tailored solutions that align with OEM needs, improving compatibility and efficiency Optimized System Architecture: Design cost-effective and scalable architectures that enhance sales opportunities for OEMs Proof of Concept (PoC) Execution: Conduct live demos and feasibility studies with OEMs and end users to establish confidence in proposed solutions. Value Engineering & Cost Optimization: Reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for OEM solutions through innovation and value engineering. Enhance Repeatability & Standardization: Develop modular and repeatable solutions for broader adoption across multiple OEMs and industry segments. Remote Support & Commissioning Assistance: Implement digital tools for remote diagnostics, support, and commissioning, improving service efficiency for OEMs. Technical Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop TVDAs, success stories, and white papers to support OEM engagement and future references. Training & Capability Building: Conduct technical training for OEMs, internal teams, and engineering students to expand market knowledge and strengthen OEM partnerships. Experience Engineer degree or equivalent in Power Electronics and motor control. 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in power electronics and application development, preferably in OEM-driven environments. Experience in large drives business as design engineer, commissioning engineer or product application engineer (PAE) with deep segment knowledge and techno commercial understanding. Specific training in Drive Systems Requirement of Professional Specialty Technical/Service Industrial Process Knowledge Training & Documentation Capabilities
