Senior Android Developer - Mobile App Architecture

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin/Java and the latest Android SDKs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and security across devices and Android versions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Work with modern Android frameworks such as Jetpack Components, Room, LiveData, ViewModel, etc.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize app performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging Android tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 67 years of proven experience in Android app development.
• Strong command of Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android Jetpack, Material Design, and Android Studio.
• Good understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
• Proficiency in RESTful API integration and JSON parsing.
• Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, and App Store Deployment.
• Hands-on with version control systems (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of React Native or other cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, Ionic, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Firebase).
• Experience in Agile / Scrum development environments.
