Accountabilities / Responsibilities Embrace and adapt to the changing environment by developing applications or script in the language of choice. Develop scalable microservice solutions for teams across various departments in an agile development environment, with a strong emphasis on creating reusable API services. Participate in the development of solutions end-to-end and see them through until they reach the end customer. This will often include requirements gathering, data modelling, data integration, software engineering, and the development of function apps. Build various (micro) apps/services on established development frameworks, including web apps, to further aid the solutions we are rolling out across the work floor. Follow the software development lifecycle defined within the team . Be able to appreciate truly Agile ways of working/development using tools like Jira/Confluence. Collaborate with peers across various levels for experiential learnings. Knowledge Skills: Required Strong software engineering skills paired with expertise in the following programming languages: python or .net or Java. Understanding and application of SOLID principles in software design ability to write high-quality code. Relevant experience developing backend or frontend solutions (e.g. On Azure Cloud, React, node.js software frameworks) Experience building applications with Azure/AWS/Google Cloud services, particularly PaaS solutions Experience with Docker and containerization. Knowledge understanding of Javascript, HTML/CSS or equivalent Automation and DevOps at the heart of all work you tackle Effective communication skills, both written and verbal for technical and non-technical audiences. Desired Thorough understanding of Continuous integration and continuous delivery using Azure DevOps. Ability to independently solve problems and build robust solutions and enjoy working with minimal supervision within an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment Proficiency in Integration of various Azure resources ( IaaS and PaaS - SQL DB , App Service , Application Insights , Storage accounts etc) to deliver an end to end automation. Experience working with JIRA and Confluence is desirable but not necessary Understanding of Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of API gateways (Apigee, API Management) Understanding of OAuth and authentication/authorization mechanisms in Azure Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a software engineer who can showcase working independently and along with the team. Educational Qualification: Graduate/Masters in any discipline Cloud certifications would be an added advantage
