Job Role - Senior Analyst – JIRA Administrator Exp - 4 - 7 Years Roles and Responsibilities: Jira Service Management Administration: Administer and manage the Jira Service Management platform, ensuring optimal performance and smooth user experience. Configure and customise projects, workflows, screens, and fields to align with organisational needs. Manage user access, permissions, and role-based configurations. Develop and maintain custom scripts, plugins, and integrations to enhance Jira’s functionality. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply best practices to improve efficiency. 2• Reporting and Data Visualization: Design and implement reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights using Power BI, Azure, and advanced Excel functions. Develop automated reporting solutions that enable teams to track performance metrics and service management KPIs. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting tools to support business decision making. 3. Collaboration and Support : Work with cross-functional teams to understand service management needs and implement process improvements. Provide training and support to end users, ensuring they effectively utilise Jira Service Management. Create and maintain system documentation, best practices, and training materials. Stay updated with the latest Jira Service Management features and trends to drive continuous improvement. 4. Be Client Obsessed : Ensure a seamless user experience by maintaining efficient Jira workflows and processes. Proactively monitor and address platform issues to minimise disruptions. 5. Think Big and Thrive on Change : Identify and implement process improvements to streamline service management operations. Leverage data visualisation tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Act with Humanity : Foster a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and supporting team members. Approach every challenge with integrity and a problem-solving mindset. 6. Debate Actively and Align Quickly : Work closely with stakeholders to refine Jira Service Management processes and align on solutions effectively. Develop and maintain transparency in reporting and workflow optimisations. 7. Get Stuff Done : o Exhibit a proactive approach in managing system configurations and reporting functions. Take ownership of tasks and drive projects to completion efficiently. This may be the right role for you if you have. • Experience: 4+ years in Jira Service Management administration, IT service management, or reporting roles. • Skills: Strong understanding of Jira Service Management administration, including workflow customisation and integrations. Proficiency in Power BI, Azure, and advanced Excel for data visualisation and reporting. Experience with scripting languages such as JQL and AQL Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating Jira with external systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Attributes: A detail oriented and solution driven mindset. Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment. Strong communication and documentation skills. • Preferred Qualifications: Jira Administrator certification. Experience with other Atlassian products such as Confluence and Bitbucket.
