Senior Accountant(E-Commerce Experience)

Happy Cheeks Private Limited is a growing D2C brand focused on delivering innovative and high-quality children's toys under the label Kidology. As we scale, We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant who can independently manage TDS/GST return filing, e-commerce reconciliation, auditing support, year-end closing, financial reporting, and legal compliance. The candidate should be capable of handling advanced accounting tasks, marketplace operations, and statutory duties without supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Taxation & Compliance (TDS / GST / Income Tax)

• Prepare and file TDS Returns (both Salary & Non-Salary).
• Handle TDS entries, TDS claims, and ensure correct deduction and reconciliation.
• Independently file GST returns including:
• GSTR-1
• GSTR-3B
• GSTR-2A / 2B matching
• NIL filing
• GSTR-9 & 9C (Annual Return & Audit)
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations related to GST, TDS, Income Tax & E-commerce laws.
• Manage case & credit ledger on GST portal, including following up on disputed entries.

2. E-commerce Accounting & Marketplace Reconciliation

• Full marketplace reconciliation for Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, Ajio, etc.
• Handle FBA Accounting, stock transfer entries, and settlement verification.
• Calculate and verify gross sales vs purchases against stock transfer.
• Monthly marketplace reconciliation:
• TCS
• Order vs settlement
• Commissions
• Returns & reversals
• Shipping charges
• Manage MISP and marketplace-specific compliance reporting.

3. Auditing & Financial Reporting

• Support internal and external audits with complete documentation.
• Prepare financial documents, ledgers, trial balance, P&L, and schedules.
• Handle year-end closing, depreciation entries, provisions & adjustments.
• Prepare and manage Balance Sheet and ensure accuracy of all financial records.
• Conduct data analysis, MIS reporting, and management reporting.

4. Reconciliation & Accounting Operations

• Perform full vendor reconciliation, customer reconciliation, and ledger management.
• Match TDS, TCS, GST, and books using marketplace and government reports.
• Prepare stock transfer entries, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Oversee cash flow management, fund planning, payable/receivable monitoring.
• Maintain accuracy of all purchase, sales, credit notes, debit notes, and stock reports.

5. E-invoicing, E-way Bills & Documentation

• Manage e-invoicing and IRN generation for B2B transactions.
• Create and reconcile E-way Bills for stock movement, purchase & sales.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all transactions.

Required skills & Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter or equivalent with 4–7+ years of experience.
• Strong command over GST, TDS, Income Tax, E-commerce accounting & reconciliation.
• Expertise in GSTR-1, 3B, 2A/2B, 9, 9C and annual compliance.
• Hands-on experience with seller panels, MIS reporting, and stock movement entries.
• Proficiency in Excel, Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to guide junior accountants and manage accounting operations independently.
