Job Description

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Prepare, maintain, and review financial records, ledgers, and statements. Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing. Generate MIS reports, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial summaries. 2. Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.). Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits. Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes. 3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversee vendor payments, expense tracking, and reconciliation. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for timely payments. Approve and process employee reimbursements and advances. 4. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist management in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze variances between budgeted and actual expenses/revenues. Provide recommendations for cost control and financial efficiency. 5. Taxation & Compliance Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and advance tax payments. Support in income tax assessments and related matters. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and taxation laws. 6. Team Management & Supervision Guide and supervise junior accountants and accounts staff. Review their work for accuracy and compliance. Provide training and mentoring to improve team efficiency. 7. Bank & Cash Management Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management. Liaise with banks for loans, facilities, and financial transactions. Monitor daily cash inflow and outflow to ensure liquidity. 8. Strategic Support Provide financial insights to management for decision-making. Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to business planning. Support management in cost optimization and profitability analysis.
