Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Mumbai/Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing billing, core accounting, and post-sales accounts while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in accounting principles. Key Responsibilities: • Billing & Invoicing: Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. • Core Accounting: Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities. • Post-Sales Accounts: Handle customer accounts, collections, and revenue recognition processes. • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and other financial summaries as required. • Compliance & Taxation: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.). • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data. • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for financial efficiency and accuracy. Key Requirements: • Qualifications: CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) or B.Com/M.Com with relevant experience. • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in accounting, billing, and financial reporting. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other accounting software. • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other financial compliance aspects. • Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
