Job Description

Location: Bhiwadi Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Head of Finance Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary:The Factory Accountant is responsible for managing the financial operations at the factory level, including cost control, budgeting, inventory management, and financial reporting. The role ensures compliance with company financial policies and procedures, provides insights to support operational decisions, and maintains accurate records of all financial transactions related to the factory. Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate records of financial transactions at the factory level.Coordinate with procurement team to ensure all purchases take place in a controlled following the process laid down and help in reduce cost and wasteful purchasesCoordinate with production and procurement teams to track raw material usage and wastage.Conduct inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with accounting records.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for factory operations.Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.Oversee payroll processing for factory employees in collaboration with the HR department.Prepare and analyze factory cost reports, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring spending is within approved limits.Implement and improve financial controls to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 7–10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Good knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, BC 365, ERP, Oracle) and MS Excel.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Desirable Attributes:Experience in ERP systems integration.Familiarity with lean manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives.Good understanding of Procurement Processes
