Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Prime Financial India, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Australian Managers and Partners, contributing to a supportive and high-performing accounting team in India. Your responsibilities will include: - Prepare and lodge Australian tax returns and financial statements for various entities such as Company, Trust, Partnership, and Group. - Assist in Board reporting, management packs, and financial analysis. - Handle the preparation and filing of BAS, IAS, FBT, Div 7A returns, and provide support for grant applications including R&D. - Review, mentor, and guide junior team members to ensure their professional growth. - Maintain high-quality documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Engage in daily collaboration with the Australian team to deliver accurate and timely outcomes. To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills: - 3+ years of experience in Australian accounting within a public practice setting. - Qualified or pursuing CA/CPA/ICWA/CS certification. - Strong hands-on experience with accounting software such as XERO, MYOB, and tax tools. - Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. - Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical/reporting skills. - A team player with problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail. - Experience in training or reviewing junior team members is considered a plus. - Enthusiasm to grow within a global company and take on leadership opportunities.
