Senior Accountant Finalisation - UK Accounting

Responsibilities

• Compile detailed working papers, finalizing year end accounts

• Analyzing General ledger, passing recoding entries and yearend adjustments to finalize year end accounts of Companies

• Compile and analyse financial statements as per FRS 102/105

• Coding the Trial balance into finalization software and ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the figures (TaxCalc, CCH, Digita, TaxFiler, Xero Tax etc.)

• Computation of Corporation tax, and preparation of CT600

• Producing required reports and filing accounts and tax returns with HMRC/Companies House

• Candidate should be capable of working independently with minimal senior intervention

• Correspondence with clients

• CA, ACCA, B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, CMA, Inter-CAs (with no exam leaves), CS, Inter CS, etc.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in UK year-end accounting and taxation
  
• Strong concepts of accounting finalisation and disclosures
  
• UK accounting software expertise mainly Xero, QB, IRIS, CCH, Xero Tax, TaxCalc, SAPA, Digita etc.
  
• Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Dext, HubDoc, etc.
  
• Know-how of UK topical issues
  
• Good written & spoken English communication, strong interpersonal skills
  
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc.)
  
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statementS
  
• Organisational and time-management skills
  
• Experience of working in remote and hybrid team environment
