Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the complete accounting function of the organisation. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, strong with reconciliations, efficient in follow-ups, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain complete books of accounts, including all incomes, expenses, and centre-level transactions
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial records
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and documentation
• Maintain ledgers, journals, and internal financial schedules

Fee Management & Invoicing

• Manage fee follow-ups and ensure timely collection of dues
• Generate and manage invoices through Zoho Books
• Maintain ageing reports and follow-through on outstanding payments

Reconciliations

• Perform bank reconciliation on a regular basis
• Conduct vendor, customer/parent ledger, and internal account reconciliations
• Identify discrepancies and take corrective action promptly

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS, cash-flow reports, and financial summaries
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses
• Provide management with accurate financial insights and reports

Finalisation & Compliance

• Assist in finalisation of accounts
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• 3–6+ years of proven experience in accounting
• Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books or similar accounting software
• Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Excellent follow-up capability, attention to detail, and deadline management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
