Job Title - Senior Accountant Location Vrindavan Department – Accountants & Finance Position Overview: The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and compliance with accounting policies and standards. This role involves oversight of accounting procedures, validation of financial entries, representation during audits, training and development of team members, and preparation of detailed reports and MIS. Key Responsibilities: 1. Monitoring SOP Compliance: Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identify and address deviations from established processes. Collaborate with team members to implement corrective measures. 2. Validation and Corrections: Perform detailed checks of accounting entries made by junior accountants. Identify discrepancies and work with accountants to rectify errors. 3. Audit Representation: Act as a primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors. Provide necessary documentation and explanations related to financial records. 4. Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for accounting staff. Create development plans to enhance team skills and performance. 5. Reporting and MIS: Prepare and present financial reports and Management Information Systems (MIS) in required formats. ' o Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management. 6. Special Tasks: Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by superiors. Adapt to changing priorities and requirements as needed. 7. Process Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of accounting processes and SOPs. Be prepared to rotate through various roles within the department as required.
