Senior Accountant (CA Intermediate)

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial consolidation.
• Review, assess, and enhance accounting systems, internal controls, and SOPs.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare, analyze, and present budgets, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow projections.
• Conduct detailed internal audits and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff and coordinate cross-functional queries.
• Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF/ESI) and liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in bookkeeping and reporting.

Education & Certification:

• CA Intermediate with cleared modules OR CA Finalist/Qualified

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ post-articleship experience in an audit firm or corporate finance function.
• Expert in MS Office, ERP/accounting systems (Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks), and data analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, corporate laws, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven ability to handle month-end closings, audits, and statutory filings.
