Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Akhil Beach Resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and optimizing accounting systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and analyzing financial data to create accurate and insightful financial reports. - Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management. - Developing recommendations to optimize accounting systems, improve accuracy, and detect discrepancies. - Supervising accounting assistants by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and guiding daily operations. - Offering support and consultation to staff on accounting control procedures. - Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and financial standards setting. - Managing and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. - Organizing financial statements and budgets to ensure timely and accurate reporting. - Overseeing and supporting internal and external tax audits and ensuring timely filing of tax returns. - Maintaining documentation and ensuring alignment with internal policies and statutory compliance. - Collaborating with financial managers to enhance overall financial operations. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting or financial role. - Prior experience in the hospitality sector is a strong advantage. - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and tax regulations. - Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership qualities.
