Job Description

As an ACCA Affiliate or member with 3+ years of UK Year-End Accounting experience, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Preparation and review of working papers and financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards (FRS). - Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Ensuring day-to-day deliveries of each engagement meet quality standards and turnaround time (TAT). - Complying with daily submission of time sheets and updating workflow systems promptly. - Engaging in client communication by raising queries and providing timely responses. - Providing support to colleagues and departments in resolving accounting and budgetary issues. - Managing complete bookkeeping for UK-based clients, including recording income, expenses, purchases, sales, and bank reconciliation using accounting software. - Generating monthly financial statements such as cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets. - Handling VAT returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. In addition to the key responsibilities, you are expected to have proficiency in UK-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Hubdoc, Dext, IRIS, Digita, CCH, and TaxCalc. You should also be adept in using MS Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word. This job offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in UK Year-End Accounting to deliver high-quality services to clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and deadlines.
