Responsibilities:
Prepare tax returns and other tax documents for individuals and businesses.
Assist with client onboarding and data management.
Stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations, including GST.
Communicate effectively with clients to answer questions and provide clear
explanations.
Prepare financial statements and perform other accounting tasks (as
needed).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
Strong understanding of taxation principles and accounting practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with client and data management (or a willingness to learn).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Working knowledge of GST (or a willingness to learn).
Desired skills:
● Proven working experience as Accounts Payable and Receivable
● Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable and
receivables principles
● Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial
records.
● Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
● Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
● Proficiency in English and in MS Office
● High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
● Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
