About the Role:

Selenium Tester

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  
• Implement test automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid, or BDD using Cucumber).
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  

2. Test Planning & Execution

• Analyze requirements and functional specifications to prepare test plans and test cases.
  
• Execute both manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

3. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  Provide timely reports on test progress, automation coverage, and product quality metrics.
• Assist in creating user guides or QA knowledge documentation as needed.
  

4. Continuous Improvement

• Continuously enhance automated test suites for efficiency and maintainability.
  
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices in automation testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave.
  
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or SOAP UI.
  
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for test execution.
