Job Description

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the defined industry segments, for the assigned area. Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment.
In this role, youll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Leading the segment team members and reinforces global sales efficiency and performance.
Building relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leverages ABBs strengths to capture new business opportunities.
Driving and ensuring knowledge sharing and cross-division and cross-country collaborations.
Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify industry segment trends, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.

Qualifications for the role

You are immersed in business development function in switchgear market
You have 12 to 20 years of hands on experience in Sales and Business Development of MV Switchgear (AIS, GIS, RMU, Electrical codes and Standards)
Possess an enhanced knowledge of Data Center Electricals Designs & Power Systems
Degree in Electrical engineering (should be full-time)
You are at ease communicating in English
