Job Description: Security Guard – FMS MART, Dhatkidih, Jamshedpur Position: Security Guard Number of Vacancies: 02 Location: FMS MART, Dhatkidih, Jamshedpur 831001 Work Timings: 10 am to 10 pm (Rotational Shift) Work Days: Monday to Sunday (All days) Monthly Salary: Rs 7,000/- to Rs 11,000/- per month. Job Summary FMS MART is seeking two vigilant and responsible Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of our customers, staff, and property. The ideal candidates will be proactive in preventing theft, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment within the superstore. Key Responsibilities Patrol the store premises regularly to deter theft, vandalism, and any suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to identify and respond to potential security threats. Control access to the store, verifying the identity of staff, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas. Prevent shoplifting and loss by observing customer behavior and conducting bag checks when required. Respond promptly to emergencies, such as medical incidents, fire alarms, or disturbances, and coordinate with first responders if needed. Assist customers by providing directions or information, and act as a friendly, helpful presence in the store. Prepare and maintain incident and daily activity reports as per company procedures. Enforce store policies and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols. Maintain security of all entry and exit points, doors, and windows during shift hours. Requirements Prior experience as a security guard in a retail or supermarket environment preferred. Ability to remain alert, observant, and calm under pressure. Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and staff. Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods. Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
