Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer I to join our team at Procore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security engineering and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures and systems.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security threats.
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of the development lifecycle.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in security engineering.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers on security-related matters.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
Experience with security frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
