Security Assurance

As a Security Assurance at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to ensure they meet plan, budget, quality, and governance standards. Your responsibilities will include spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation, and excellence. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, you will transform digital offerings to provide exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Development and execution of assessments, audits, and threat models to identify vulnerabilities within the banks" systems, applications, and servers using penetration tools and techniques. Communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders. - Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to identify emerging cyber-attack techniques, tools, and technologies. Support the development of penetration testing methodologies. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documents and reports for senior stakeholders on penetration test findings and remediation guidance. - Work with stakeholders to understand security requirements and controls in business processes, applications/services to enhance overall security posture and assurance. - Identify emerging vulnerabilities, exploit codes, and cyber-attacks to develop testing methodologies and assurance activities. Qualifications Required: - Some experience in operational risk or risk management frameworks. - Technical experience with Infrastructure Cloud Platform Products (Middleware, Cloud Products such as AWS/AZURE, OS Servers, or DB technologies). - Exposure to technology projects or change initiatives in infrastructure or business applications. - Experience in the technology environment. - Strong analytical skills to interpret data and presentations. - Good communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders, with support from senior team members.
